Sun - Wed 11am - 1am
Thurs - 11am - 2am
Fri - Sat 11am - 3am

Meal Service Times
The kitchen is open seven days from 12pm - 9pm. Bookings for large groups are essential. Thursday and Friday lunch times are quite busy so a booking is required to guarantee you a table.

Tabs
Bar Tabs can be arranged at any time. You are in control of what drinks you can have on your Tab and how much you would like the Tab to go up to. You can obtain a balance of the Tab at any point in the night. Wrist-tags can be provided for your group if the function isn't private.

Payment Methods
We accept all major credit cards including: - Mastercard, Visa, Diners, EFTPOS, Amex amongst others. There is a minimum of $20 on all credit/debit transactions

Transport
We are located on the corner of Bourke & Exhibition St, where there is ample on street parking. There is a car park next-door, a tram stop outside the front door and a train station (Parliament) just up the road.

Dress Code
On Friday and Saturday nights there is a standard dress code which includes - No singlets, shorts, ripped clothing, work gear.

Smoking
As from 1st July 2007 there is NO SMOKING anywhere in the venue. Outdoor furniture and heaters are supplied outside which is licensed until 1am daily.

Disabled Facilities
There is a disabled toilet located on the ground floor. We also have a passenger lift that is available on request. When making a reservation please advise us that you will require disabled access.

Function Facilities
The Elephant & Wheelbarrow can cater for numerous functions spreading over three levels. From a set menu consisting of 2-3 courses, to Christmas menus and finger food and canape menus. We can offer you our famous function room for that private occasion or an area on one of our other levels where you and your group can relax and enjoy each others company along with the buzzing atmosphere that The Elephant & Wheelbarrow has to offer.
